Remember last week when I was nervous about the chicken fried steaks? Good news! They turned out awesome. I made a simple gravy from butter, flour, milk and chicken broth to put on top and it really made the dish.
Here’s what’s on our menu for this week:
- Honey Balsamic salmon with quinoa and green beans
- Chicken Marsala with garlic mashed potatoes
- Tacos with refried beans
- Spaghetti and meatballs with salad
- Shrimp Fried Rice
- Filet Mignons with broccoli and baked potatoes
Don’t think we’re fancy and turn up our nose at regular old sirloin steak! The filet mignons came in the Omaha Steak sampler I got with my Groupon.
